Conservation-minded Waterkloof Estate unlocks nature’s true potential with elegant wines of great complexity and uncompromised quality, shaped by an amphitheatre of bio-dynamic farmed vineyards on the outskirts of Somerset West. Its flagship Waterkloof range, which currently consists of just a Sauvignon Blanc, epitomises the estate’s goal of producing truly fine, world class wines. It is made in limited quantities from two windswept blocks at the top of the Schapenberg and only released in exceptional vintages. Unusually for Sauvignon Blanc, it is a wine capable of ageing for many years.

Pure intensity with steeliness & minerality. This wine shows great purity and elegance with a long persistent finish. From a single south facing vineyard block on the farm. One of our most exposed vineyards. Biodynamically farmed grapes.
